This includes slide presentations, congress abstracts/posters, primary papers, advisory board meeting reports, clinical trial recruitment tools, brochures, books and sales/marketing materials.
I can assimilate the key issues rapidly across a number of therapeutic areas, and am experienced in translating and communicating a clear scientific story relevant to the audience and communication platform. Editorial Projects Manager
At this large medical communications agency I was responsible for the timely and professional production of all deliverables for my assigned accounts. In addition, I liaised with production teams, opinion leaders and clients and reviewed the work of writers within my team. Alongside the management functions I also wrote and edited a number of communication materials including primary papers, abstracts, posters, clinical trial recruitment tools and presentations.
Senior Writer
As Senior Writer, I focussed on writing and editing for multiple accounts supporting pre- and
post-launch drugs. The projects ranged from scientific meeting proceedings and advisory board meeting reports to primary papers, and from congress abstracts to training materials.

Managing Editor
I was accountable for the editorial production of clinician's manuals and other publications for specialists at this medical publishing company. The role included scheduling all publications of the department, liaising with internal management and external customers and signoff for the department's entire publication list. Managing a team of around five Editors, I had responsbility for developing their editorial skills through training as well as managing the department's resourcing.
Senior Editor
This position involved progressing an assigned collection of around six titles at any time from initial manuscript to printer-ready film. The work entailed editing or rewriting initial author drafts, incorporating author and reviewer amendments, preparing copy for typesetting and undertaking final quality-control procedures prior to printing.

Medical Writer
My role at this medical communications company was to write scripts for promotional or educational medical videos and ensure the scientific accuracy and continuity of animation, visuals and voice-overs. In addition, I adapted video scripts for use in other media such as print and CD-ROM.
